Whilst Anni hasn't
seen the Abbey Road studio yet on her travels, she has seen
the statue for Freddie Mercury and has played in Coventry much
to her pleasure it would seem.
"It was nice playing there. I'd never heard of it before
but apparently it's the seventh biggest city here."
Geographical facts aside as well as a brief discussion on how
the introduction of the Sat-Nav could mean the end of the lost
art of map reading, things seem to be going well for the artist
releasing records on Too Pure. Though it's hard for people to
describe her music. Anni herself on her Myspace site claims
her music sounds like, "great music for family and friends!
Gather round the table."
"It has a basic pop song structure in a way," adds
Anni. "It's quite rhythmic and people have compared me
to Bjork and others in that range but I guess people like to
categorise it as folk music but I don't really like that."
Anni explains that although she's "always performed as
a solo artist"; she records with bands sometimes and has
every intention to perform in the UK with a full band. It would
of course mean bigger band riders. Which of course means keeping
on eye on eating correctly so that good health can be maintained
during the tour. Though everyone is faced with temptations.
"I'll do things that will wreck
me and I'll figure it out three days later," she says laughing.
Here's hoping she doesn't succumb to her temptations too much.
