Beginnings or cycles, it's your decision but it seems fitting that they're on a tour which includes the majority if not all the Barfly venues, stopping in at other cities and towns such as Milton Keynes along the way.

"The fact that we can get to tour on it's own is brilliant," explains Alexei. "This is going to be the first organised tour. We did a tour at the start of the year and it was more like playing somewhere in London, then going somewhere else the next night and then the next night playing somewhere else in London."

These are events that often occur for most bands that are driven and keen to persevere to accomplish their own self targets.

"We started off saying yes to everybody who wanted us to come and play," admits Alexei.

Jokes aside about the size of the band's carbon feet, the three-piece don’t denounce these decisions as mistakes but more as lessons.

They've learnt to cope with the arrogance of other billed bands on the night, lies fed by promoters to attract the band or from other bands about what to expect from promoters and their events.

"We've played a lot of venues and with a lot of bands that aren't all that," states Kelly.

"Some things you don't find out until you get to a venue," explains Alexei. "Like everyone has got a Myspace account and they put out bulletins frequently so it looks like there's probably going to be a few people there. But you're just going to have to go and see for yourself." >>
