| “We just
chucked everything from the rider at the crowd,” continues
                    Craig.
I ask how the tour has gone and with a little help from Fi,
Craig remembers it started two days ago in Norwich. Fi and
Nathan bid us all farewell as Craig starts to discuss the
                    tour.

“It feels like it’s a proper tour. We’ve
got a proper tour bus, pretty good merchandise and lights
for the first time. It’s good. It feels like everything
is going in the right direction.”

That’s largely to do with some successful song writing,
of which the song ‘I Aint Loosing Any Sleep’ has
played a large part. Was it about anything in particular?

 “I can’t remember. It’s about people that
I don’t like,” laughs Craig. “Can you imagine
if you wrote it about your guitarist who you didn’t
like?” he asks of Matthew. “And you make him play
it all the time, that would be a bit harsh. I can’t
remember. Usually I write lyrics when I get a reaction off
of things. That’s a bit of a crap answer.”

Yes, but it’s honest. The band may or may not have a
particular suited method for writing songs but one thing for
sure is if you place them in a room and won’t let them
out until they’ve written a decent song they may not
                    be able to oblige.

“We’ve got to be relaxed and comfortable and those
songs come at weird times,” explains Craig.

“You can’t plan a song,” adds Matthew.

“Sometimes people have these things about taking a week
off and the idea is to write a load of songs and come back,”
explains Craig. “Some weeks we have none, other weeks
                    we have a hundreds.” >>
